This is a deliberate strategy designed to allow students the flexibility to switch between programmes at the end of their first year of study.

This provides the student with a superb grounding in key general business practices as well as gaining specific, valuable skills in the recreation and leisure area.

Year 3

At final year, students study Business Strategy alongside a range of specialist leisure and recreation modules including Leisure and Recreation Operations, Leisure and Recreation risk Management. A project affords the opportunity for students to apply specialist knowledge to practical work situations. This degree has been introduced further to strong demand identified in the Irish marketplace by employers and industry bodies.
